Cancellation Policies

Booking Fees
A 10% Booking Fee applies to each payment. In the event of a refund being requested, the booking fee will be subtracted from the original fee and retained.

Payments and Refunds for Courses
Courses are defined as a related series classes with a start and an end date, with a defined outcome. Our Puppy Schools, Beginners and Basic Manners courses, Nose Works, and Grumpy programs fall under this category.
The participant understands that full payment is required prior to attending the course.
Should the participant fail to attend any and all sessions for a given course, without prior agreement, any and all payments will be forfeit.
Should the participant wish to not attend, and expresses this directly to Dog Solutions via formal notification, refunds* will only be provided full payment has been made prior to the course start date, and not less than 5 business days prior to course start date, or where a suitable replacement attendee can be found within the time of receiving formal notification and the time the course begins.
In exceptional circumstances as determined by Dog Solutions, a refund or credit may be provided.
While Dog Solutions will make every effort to provide fair and reasonable payment, credit and refund options, the participant remains wholly responsible for the completion of payment on time, attending courses, or notifying intent to withdraw, and Dog Solutions remains wholly responsible for accepting payment on time, providing courses, or agreeing to notifications of intent to withdraw, and providing credit or refunding as agreed by Dog Solutions.
Where Dog Solutions is unable to begin a class as agreed, suitable alternate times will be provided, or credit or refunds* will be offered.
Where Dog Solutions is unable to complete a class already underway, suitable alternate times will be provided, or credit will be offered.

Payments and Refunds for recurring Classes
Classes are defined as repeatable sessions. Our Manners (Mixed, Intermediate, and Advanced) classes fall under this category.
The participant understands that full payment is required to attend a given class. Payment can be made prior to class commencement, or at class completion.
Should the participant wish to not attend, and expresses this directly to Dog Solutions via formal notification, refunds* will only be provided on request where full payment has been made prior to class commencement, and not less than 1 business day prior to class start date.
Credit will be offered for future classes only where payment has been made prior to class commencement, and formal notification has been received prior to class start.
Should the participant fail to attend a classes, without formal notification of intent to withdraw, any payments will be forfeit.

Payments and Refunds for Appointments
Appointments are defined as an agreed date and time for an appointment or consultation. Private Training, Behaviour Consultations, and Fitting appointments fall into this category.
The participant understands that full payment is required prior to appointment commencement.
Should the participant wish to cancel the appointment, and expresses this directly to Dog Solutions via formal notification, refunds* will only be provided on request where full payment has been made, and not less than 1 business day prior to an appointment start date.
Should the participant fail to attend an appointment without formal notification of intent to cancel, any payments will be forfeit.
While Dog Solutions will make every effort to provide fair and reasonable payment, credit and refund options, the participant remains wholly responsible for the completion of payment on time, attending an appointment, or notifying intent to cancel, and Dog Solutions remains wholly responsible for accepting payment on time, providing an appointment, or agreeing to notifications of intent to cancel, and providing credit or refunding as agreed by Dog Solutions.

Where Dog Solutions is unable to complete an appointment already underway, suitable alternate times will be provided, or credit will be offered.

Dog Solutions reserves the right to assess each request individually, and in exceptional circumstances as determined by Dog Solutions, a refund or credit may be provided.

*refunds are subject to any applicable bookings fees.
